Crew and Camera Man visible in 24 redemption

Those who know me, know that I am a big fan of the 24 show. Obviously, I couldn’t wait to see the 2 hours “Redemption” which should be a bridge from season 6 to season 7 (which is airing in January 2009).

Anyhow, while watching “Redemption” I noticed that in one scene the crew and camera man is visible. In the scene were Jack and the boys run into the forest, being chased by the army, Jack hides behind a tree and the whole take is quite fast so I guess the crew had no time anymore to hide :-)

In the picture below you can see Jack on the right side and the crew behind the bush on the left. The camera is quite visible.

I got myself some Art

Something on the side of coding and technology, yes there is a live besides IT (!), I went to Germany and bought myself some Art from Jürg Döring. To all my friends who know me it was obvious what kind of Art image I got since I am a huge fan on Audrey Hepburn. There are only 40 originals made worldwide and I am happy to own one of them now.

Car, Bluetooth and BlackBerry

One and a half year ago I got myself a Audi Q7, actually one of the first around in our country. It is a nice car (if you like the size of it) and the MMI is very intuitive. It had TV, DVD and a very good navigation system build in. What I liked a lot was that I could get my BlackBerry Curve 8310 working within minutes over bluetooth.

Five months ago, I switched to the latest VW Touareg 2 model and since then never looked back. The Touareg is a much nicer car, drives smoother and overall just more my type of car. If you are in business for getting one then I suggest you add the air and sport suspension to it. Anyhow, the Touareg 2 also comes with the latest Muldimedia System RNS510.

But the biggest drawback I have with the Touareg 2 is that I can not get my BlackBerry 8310 connected over Bluetooth. So far, I have tried about everything there is, but still no go. The RNS510 is a much newer system then the one I had in the Audi Q7 and thus it is even more confusing that the BlackBerry does not work. In the meantime, I also upgraded the BlackBerry to OS 4.5, but the Touareg still does not see the device.

Anybody has any ideas what else there is to try?

Indiana Jones 4 and …

… I just got back from watching the latest Indiana Jones movie called “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull“. So, what do I think of it?

Well from the beginning on, you are reminded that this is a Indiana Jones movie. The hat sits at the right place, “Indy” looks “as always”. The action is right and it is fun watching the movie. There are some jokes in it, not a lot, but just about enough. I think that Cate Blanchett is the perfect vilain (she looks good in every part of the movie). In the typical Indy manner the movie takes its turns, but…

The last 30 minutes of the movie, are simply put, a total waste of time and a disapointment. Why on earth, does Spielberg need to put in his “Alien freak show” (as he has done with all his last movies) in Indiana Jones? The whole thing that the 13 aliens combine into one and then destroys everything around it and flies back home in his mothership is just a very bad ending for the Indy series.
