WebDeveloper Toolbar 1.1.5 available

In a recent post I said that one of my “must have” extensions, the WebDeveloper Toolbar, is not available for FireFox 3 and thus makes testing the FireFox 3 browser a less pleasant expirience.

Well, this all changed today when WebDeveloper 1.1.5 turned up. Thank you, I can now finally start testing FireFox 3.

Firefox 3 Beta 1 available

The guys over at the Mozilla Foundation released beta 1 of the next Firefox release 3.

The most apparent feature is supposed to be the new bookmark management that is build on labels instead of a folder structure (which makes a lot of sense). Let's see how the browser holds up to its expectations and how it performs.

Get FireFox 2.0 already

Looks like the Mozilla team has already put the final release of FireFox 2.0 on their FTP site. So if you want go ahead and grab your copy at ftp.mozilla.org.

Interview with the FireFox genius

Just found this interview with the maker of FireFox. It is quite interesting and he has a common sense of the software industry and not the “normal” open source mind. You can find the interview here.
