While we are slowly rolling out the Razuna 1.4 release (some of you might already see the Update notification in your 1.3.5 installation), we want to make sure that you make a special note of the 1.3.5 to 1.4 upgrade path.
Upgrading from your current Razuna 1.3.5 to Razuna 1.4 is fully supported, but it needs a bit more dedication then the upgrades in the past. Therefore, please head over to the dedicated Upgrade Guide for Razuna 1.3.5 to 1.4. As you can see, we made a script available and we kindly ask you to take some time to run through it.
Updating from Razuna 1.4 onwards will be a one step path, as you only will need to export the Razuna data and import it to the new instance. Thus dramatically increasing time to deployment for Razuna.
Razuna 1.4 brings over 100 enhancements to the Razuna platform. The Razuna 1.4 announcement will follow in a couple of hours, but we wanted to make sure that those of you who get theirs hands on it earlier are aware of this update path.

On the heel of the announcement of the new Shared Folder & Collection settings we are also introducing a small, but nevertheless important, re-design for Razuna 1.4.
A new home for the basket and favorites
First off, we only have the folder explorer on the left side. The basket and favorites tabs have been moved to the bottom of the browser screen. Like this, both the basket and the favorites are out of your way and can be shown when needed. Furthermore, with those tabs at the bottom we are introducing “drag & drop”. This means that you will be able to simply drag & drop the asset to your basket or favorites.
Form fields and Buttons with focus
We also have given our input fields and buttons some love. They got nice rounded corners and when being used are highlighted with a red border. Our beta testers have told us that this improved their work a lot and thus we are more then happy to be able to introduce this small change for Razuna 1.4.
Images, thumbnails and icons
In Razuna 1.4 we also changed the thumbnail view to make room for 5 images in a row and automatically resize all thumbnail previews to the same size. This gives it a much cleaner feeling.
Additionally, we added icons to each asset. Each asset can be added to the favorites (star icon), added to the basket (arrow icon) and moved to the trash (trash icon) with a simply click on each respective icon. Also, the top bar has received a small icon overhaul and we hope those icons reflect better what the action behind them is.
If you have a Razuna Hosted Account with us or a Razuna Cloud Server then the new look & feel is already available in your account.
The new look & feel is also part of the soon to be released Razuna 1.4 release for those who wish to host Razuna yourself.
