New Razuna Hosted Platform Price Plans

You gave us feedback. We heard you!

We received a lot of requests for our Razuna Hosted Platform regarding our pricing, especially from organizations that use a lot of traffic and storage. Furthermore, the request for an affordable price plan that is explicitly tailored for smaller teams and organizations. Today, we’re announcing for you; our new price plans!

Basic Plan: $5/month for 3GB storage/traffic
Business Plan: $1.80/GB either storage or traffic

Basic Plan

The Basic Plan includes 3GB storage/traffic for only $5/month! You can enjoy all the benefits, like your own URL and all everything else that come along with Razuna. There is no limitations in users, groups, how many assets you want to store and more. Simply put, for only $5/month you get your own Digital Asset Management in the cloud! The perfect plan for small organizations and the startup in you! Get started right here!

Business Plan

Many organizations have taken up our Paid Hosted Service before, for all existing and new customers we are announcing today a price decrease and a more suited price for each GB: $1.80 flat!

What do we mean by $1.80 flat? As we were previously billing storage AND traffic, we will now only charge you the storage OR traffic, whichever is bigger! That means, if you use 30GB storage and have a 50GB traffic, we are charging you the 50GB only. The 30GB storage will be free of charge!

Existing customers will be “upgraded” to the new price plan automatically. If you want to get started with our $1.80/GB flat offering you can do so right now!

Of course, you can still sign up for the existing Free Plan which gives you 1GB storage/traffic per month.

Razuna 1.2.3 is available

razuna_logo_200While we are on the road to a major release of Razuna, we are nevertheless pleased to announce that Razuna 1.2.3 is available. Razuna 1.2.3 features brings some notable changes and some fixes.

Here is a short list of enhancements and fixes for Razuna;

  • New: Dutch Translation. Thanks to David Wuyts, a Razuna Community Member, we are able to offer you Razuna in Dutch now.
  • New: API call to retrieve the complete Folder Tree.
  • New: API returns now as E4X available.
  • New: Code Optimization for better performance and upload speed.
  • Fix: Moving and creating folders did not allow you to create another one with the same name.
  • Fix: Moving images to another folder did sometimes lose the thumbnail and image itself.
  • Fix: Batching of Video keywords did not work.
  • Fix: The user list shows now the correct username, first and last name entry.

The full list of all the changes in Razuna 1.2.3 and other versions is available over at the public Razuna Issue tracker.

All available download options, Standalone Server, WAR file and the Razuna Virtual Server have been updated to Razuna 1.2.3 and are available immediately. Customers who are already using Razuna, will get offered to download the new version within Razuna.

Customers of our Razuna Hosted Platform have already enjoyed the latest enhancements in the last couple of weeks.

Updates to Razuna Hosted Service – on demand Digital Asset Management

First off all, I have to say that our Razuna Hosted Service is becoming more and more successful. Many of you have signed up, since the advantages of a Digital Asset Management in the Cloud makes sense.

While we are very happy with the quantity of members increasing, we realized that our current setup of servers could sometimes not scope with all the traffic.

Thus, last night we made some hardware changes to our servers and are moving to more powerful servers over the weekend. Therefore it can be that in the night from Saturday the 5th to Sunday the 6th you might not be able to login to your Razuna. We’ll make everything possible to decrease the downtime as much as possible.

Look out for some really big changes coming for your Razuna Hosted Service. New desktop integration trough our Razuna Desktop application, a complete new re-design of Razuna and of course new features. Stay tuned for more and especially a new price plan!
