Back and all scotched

What a great conference Scotch on the Rocks 2008 was. I want to thank Andy Allan and his team for the great organization and taking care of everybody. I also want to thank all the great speakers for their time and the wisdom that they shared.

One of the highlights was the BoF session on OpenBD Wednesday evening. There is a great interest in this open source project and the feedback from the attendees was very positive (despite what some people want you to believe, make up your own mind). Here you can read everything that we have talked about.

Another highlight was the lunch (and the drinks at the bar(s) ) during the conference. Never have I attended a conference that served salad, main course and a desert in this manner. Well done!

Scotch on the Rocks 2008 R.I.P. … can’t wait for Scotch on the Rocks 2009.
