Discussion on installing ColdFusion on Leopard

Apparently there are a lot of people who have upgraded to Leopard and can not get ColdFusion 8 running anymore.

We have also updated to Leopard from Tiger and have no issues with ColdFusion 8 running. The difference might be that we never depend on the built in Apache server from Apple (because Apple updates the system and don't care what developers think) but have compiled and installed Apache 2.2.4 according to this instructions.

Also over at Mark Drew's Blog there are some instruction how to get it running.

Yes, 24 Season 7 trailer

We are a huge fan of the show "24" with Kiefer Sutherland. Fox just released the new trailer for Season 7 and all I have to say is that CTU is gone and somebody is not dead (yet)…

VMWare Fusion 1.1 Release Candidate available

VMWare Fusion 1.1 reached release candidate status yesterday, and you can download the new beta from VMWare's site.

Actually if you have MacOS X 10.5 installed already then you should install VMWare Fusion 1.1 since VMWare says that version 1.0 will not run good on 10.5.

December 1st is FuseBox Day

Sean Corfield announced that he will release FuseBox 5.5 on December 1st. If you want you can go ahead and download the public Beta Version of 5.5 already over at the FuseBox site.

Sean said that he is still looking for more beta testers since there are only a couple of bugs reported. Well Sean, we have been running our applications with FuseBox 5.5 for some time now and I have to say that there are no serious bugs around. Nice job of what I like to think the best framework around for ColdFusion.
